Gippsland Muster

On the 29th of June, over 80 people braved the gripping Gippsland cold and made their way to the Tonimbuk equestrian centre for an incredibly unique service.
Pastor Brett Townend, the President of the South Queensland Conference presented a Gospel message, straight from the horse’s mouth.
Throughout his message, he drew out object lessons from his experience with horses. From breaking it in, developing a bond and trust, to discipline and correction. We learned that God treats us much like the way you train a horse. By first establishing trust and removing fear, until eventually the horse will go wherever the master sends.
After the service, we finished up the night with a BBQ dinner. We were fortunate to have an indoor venue for this, as the rain continued long into the night.
Huge thank you to everyone who came along, and those who were involved with making it happen. A special thank you to Josh Kross and the Leongatha SDA Church, who played a huge part in running the night, and staying late to pack it up.
