Growing Together
In early March 2020, about 120 representatives from Victorian, South NSW, and South Australian Adventist Churches gathered in-person for our first Growing Together Summit. The representatives met to receive training and insights into developing a culture of intergenerational ministry within their local churches.
Since the lockdowns, many teams have continued to implement the principles from the first Growing Together meeting, even while meeting virtually.
This weekend we were blessed to meet with the teams again for our second Growing Together summit. We received training from the speakers from Fuller Youth Institute, in addition to the dedicated discussion times where teams planned for how they would implement the information into their ministries.
We are so inspired that teams have continued on the Growing Together journey, despite all the challenges of the year. We are now one year into a two-year learning journey. If you would like your church to participate, please email philiphyland@adventist.org.au
