Phil has led in the VicYouth team for over 10 years. After many years serving in a voluntary capacity in the local church, he started as Assistant Youth Director in late 2010, and was appointed Youth Director at the end of 2013. Prior to joining the VicYouth leadership team, Phil worked for Sanitarium in Victoria for many years while also holding active roles in his local church. Phil has also played a significant, ongoing role with STORMCo in Victoria as well as being a volunteer area coordinator for VicYouth.

Jonathon Gillard
Originally from Christchurch, Jonathon relocated across the ditch to Melbourne five years ago to marry his wife, Catherine, a Melbourne local.
Jonathon has enjoyed ministry experiences as both a school chaplain and a church pastor in South New Zealand and Melbourne.
He is passionate about communicating biblical concepts in a relatable and meaningful way for people of all ages. His goal is to leave a lasting impression on people in the hope of sparking a curiosity that maybe there is more to Christianity, and perhaps even a God who loves them.
Outside of ministry, Jono is always keen to chat about sport (especially rugby union and cricket), Star Wars, Marvel, Lego, TikTok and video games.

Darcy Holman
Darcy is the Assistant for the VicYouth Department at the Victorian Conference. He joined the team in November 2023 after having served in the local church as a Lay Pastor.
Darcy loves to use his administration skills in the best way possible to help young people reach their full potential in God. Whether it's at a Pathfinder event, a Summer camp or a Youth Rally, Darcy's passion is to nurture young people.
In his spare time, Darcy enjoys exercise and virtually all sporting activities. He likes reading, content creation, comedy, and pizza.

Chaplain for Tertiary Institutions
Moe Stiles
Pastor Moe Stiles is the chaplain for tertiary institutions in Victoria. In addition to providing on-campus support at Monash and Deakin, she leads the Victorian Adventists Students Association (VicASA), which exists to support tertiary students in Victoria more broadly. The VicASA team hosts events to encourage, support and cheer on young adult students as they navigate their season of life.
Moe also serves as Pastor at Crosswalk Melbourne and Chaplain for AdventCare Whitehorse. while also pursuing postgraduate study in human rights. Prior to this, Moe served in the Victorian Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church for 15 years, as Departmental Director of Youth Ministry and local church ministry. Moe is driven by justice advocacy work, community connectedness, authentic living, building leaders, and passionately yearns to see the person of Jesus truly honored in the way we live and love.
